Arts and Sport Department

Music, Visual Arts and Sports

In our school, music, art, and sports are seen as forms of expression that exist in all cultures. They are important tools that assist in interpreting and understanding the world during the entire childhood development phase. Music and art in the early years program foster imagination, communication, creativity, social development, self-confidence, and original thinking. Our art and music program aims for students to develop self-management skills and become individuals who think critically from a young age. Music and art, by presenting new ideas, not only develop creative thinking skills but also enhance problem-solving abilities for challenges they may face throughout their lives. Through art and sports, students understand the importance of teamwork by working both individually and collaboratively in formal or informal settings. It provides students with the ability to reflect their own understanding and adopt universal thinking in their evaluations. In addition to music, art, and sports, students are empowered to take risks. Immersion in art and sports, and experiencing art, leads to key questions about life and learning. Their desire and ability to take action to make a difference in their lives will be a reflection of what they have learned.

Our Approach to Sports

In our school, sports are viewed not just as physical activity, but as an essential part of personal development. We aim to promote the holistic development of students through sports, fostering physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Our approach encourages students to develop discipline, teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship, while also emphasizing the importance of having fun and staying active. By participating in a wide range of sports, students are exposed to different experiences that help build confidence, leadership, and cooperation.

We encourage every student to explore their abilities and strengths, allowing them to discover new interests and pursue their passion for sports. Whether individually or as part of a team, students are taught to appreciate the value of commitment, effort, and perseverance. Our approach integrates sports into daily life, helping students learn important life skills that extend beyond the playing field.

Through structured programs and a variety of sports, our goal is to help students develop a lifelong love for physical activity and wellness, while preparing them for both competitive and recreational opportunities.
